Description of the Procedure
 

Medical Fractional Needling Treatment, also known as Microneedling, CIT Collagen Induction Therapy and SRT Scar reduction therapy.

During this treatment, a device consisting of 12 tiny needles is used to make miniscule puncture holes in your skin. Thousands of punctures are created with every treatment, forcing the skin to regenerate and heal itself with the production of new skin cells and collagen.

The repair process will actually extend over a 12-16 week period after the treatment and collagen is still restructuring for up to 12 months post treatment.

Olupono only uses disposable needles, which eliminate the risk of cross-contamination, while the adjustable needle depths allow for a treatment tailored to your individual needs.

The treatment is also suitable and safe to use in delicate and hard to reach areas such as around the eyes and lips and on the nose.

What to expect? 
 

Though this procedure is not the most comfortable option available today, it is one of the most effective one for many people. Your skin will be numbed with anesthetic cream prior to the treatment to reduce discomfort. Once your skin is sufficiently numb, the treatmnet will commence with Mderma device. 

Mderma is using the latest techology from US, which enables to use the highest speed and power levels in needling technology in order to achieve better results with less pain and less down time.

Your treatmnet time is usually 60mins, including the numbing time. The actual procedure itself will take only 15mins for the whole face.

After Treatmnet 

​

After the procedure, the skin will be red and flushed in appearance in a similar way to moderate sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the area being treated. This will diminish greatly after a few hours following treatments and within the next 24 hours the skin will be completely healed. After three days there is barely any evidence that the procedure has taken place. You will experience light dryness up to 5-10 days.

  ✴︎　Keep the skin clear of anything including water for 8 hours after the treatment.

　✴︎  Moisturize the skin every few hours after the treatment and keep the skin hydrated as normal

  ✴︎   Don’t wash the skin in warm water for 8 hours after the treatment

  ✴︎   Don’t use any active products on the skin until all treatments have been completed

  ✴︎   8-12 hours after the treatment, wash, cleanse and moisturize the skin as normal, wear makeup
